Happy National Volunteering Week 2012 to all our Fantastic and Dedicated Volunteers!
2012 will see the first ever National Volunteering Week take place from May 14th – May 20th in association with Volunteer Ireland. National Volunteering Week is the one week of the year when we encourage everyone in Ireland to give volunteering a try, so that everyone can learn – even if it’s only for a minute, an hour, or a day – volunteering can make a big difference and be a lot of fun!
The focus of this year’s events are on “Clean-ups” and clean-up events will be hosted all around the country. Cork Volunteer Centre is hosting a range of clean-ups and information events to celebrate volunteering and the wonderful contribution of volunteers in Cork and we need all hands on deck to help make National Volunteering Week 2012 a widespread success!!
