Meet: Trocaire Cork

Justice and Human Rights are at the heart of what Trócaire does and who they are. In line with their identity as a social justice and Church organisation, they believe that every woman, man and child is born equal and with the inalienable right to a dignified life, free from injustice. They work across countries in Africa, Asia, Latin America and the Middle East on issues including livelihoods, human rights, gender equality, HIV, climate change and emergency relief. Trócaire’s aim is two-fold. Abroad, they give whatever help lies within their resources to the areas of greatest need among developing countries. Whilst at home in Ireland, they try and make people more aware of the needs of these countries and of their duties towards them.
