Sundays Well Life Centre urgently requires Volunteer Teachers to work one on one with early school leavers, preparing them for Junior Cert / Leaving Cert exams while also focussing on social and personal development.

No formal qualification education required but interest in teaching, youth work, or social work necessary!

Subjects include English, History, CSPE, Maths, Computers, Home Ec., Art, Woodwork and Geography.

On Sunday 5th August at 8.30pm The Greater Chernobyl Cause will hold its Annual Gala Auction at Bunnyconnellan Hotel, Myrtleville Co Cork.    MC will be local Buzz O Connell, with great music and craic on the night with no entry charge.

An incredible array of items will be on auction including  :   Art works donated by international renowned artists, yearly membership packages for couples at leisure centres, breaks at leading hotels, sailing lessons, kayak days, jewellery, garden furniture, pampering spa packages and Much Much More!!!

All monies raised from our auction will fund ongoing work at the building of the Semipalatinsk Hospice.  Over the past four years, the charity’s has been struggling to make improvements, replacing squalor with warmth and dignity. But the old building is dilapidated and desperately needs replacing. We have brought hope where there was once only despair as we are building an entirely new hospice within the grounds of the city’s General Hospital.   Please come and support our cause, you will leave with wonderful bargains and the good feeling that you have helped to give a better life to the forgotten elderly.
